The area serviced by the department includes the Town of Lafleche, R.M. of Wood River No. 74 and Thomson Lake Regional Park. Funding for the department is provided by the three municipalities that it covers, fund raising done by the members, and grants.  Some of the rescue equipment has been purchased under the JEPP Funding Grant.
