The Lafleche and District Lions Club is an active organization that provides services and funds to needy causes in the community. The Lions Club maintains a can/bottle donation box in town for those that want to donate their cans and bottles to their community. We sponsor the annual Lion's Carol Festival each year, and in conjunction with that, we host the Santa Claus Day with movies for the kids, and of course a visit from that jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus, with treats for all the kids. Our club has built a playground in town, and has made numerous donations many organizations in town. Two of our latest donations included a donation of $1000 to the local volunteer firefighters organization, and $3000 to the Lafleche Community Center to help pay for the new Zamboni.
